Starting young at practicing yoga helps children maintain or improve their natural posture and composure. Yoga enables children to retain their flexibility, develop strength, sleep better, improve their levels of concentration and perform to their full potential at home and in school.
Classes are varied and fun with a combination of breathing exercises, postures, chanting, yoga games and relaxation/visualisation techniques which all help children gain self- confidence, positivity and come to terms with many of their physical and mental developmental changes.

What age could my child start?
The class starts from Reception year upwards.
Will I need to buy any special clothes or equipment?
No. Comfortable clothing should be worn and mats are provided at
the venue. Please feel free to bring your own yoga mat if you wish.
How long is a lesson?
Do parents have to stay for the lesson?
Parents can sit in the coffee area and relax. Fitness First requires parents to remain on site during class.
How long is a term?
Courses are run in alignment with school term times which vary. Please phone to confirm.
Class Location: Fitness First
Charges: £6.00 per hourly lesson (payable 1/2 termly).
New students may pay just £6.00 for their first initial lesson before committing to the course.
